DO THIS: ConKerr Cancer’s PJ Party at the Please Touch Museum

Don your footsie pajamas for a good cause at the second annual ConKerr Cancer PJ Party at the Please Touch Museum. ConKerr Cancer’s Cindy Kerr started the foundation when her son was fighting cancer at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP). Since then, the grassroots non-profit has expanded into an international volunteer organization that brings smiles to children in hospital or hospice care through the simple act of donating cheery pillowcases.

Of course, this organization is all about the kids, so it’s fitting that this year’s benefit will be held at the Please Touch Museum. The event is open to all, and each $25 ticket purchased will buy one pillow case for a ConKerr kid. This year’s party packs some local star power, including former Eagles’ defense tackle and co-host on 94 WIP, Hollis Thomas, NBC 10 Chief Meteorologist Glenn “Hurricane” Schwartz, a visit from Eagles’ mascot Swoop, and some animal guests from the Philadelphia Zoo. Also expect to see some teenage royalty: three Miss American Teenager winners will be in attendance.

The ConKerr Cancer PJ Party will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 21st at the The Please Touch Museum (4231 Avenue of the Republic). A pajama dress code will be strictly enforced. More info here.
