Lancaster, Pa. Amish Mafia Star Jailed for Suspended License

The Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era reports that John Schmucker, the 29-year-old star of Amish Mafia has been sentenced to jail after receiving his 10th violation of driving on a suspended license:

Schmucker was ordered to three months in prison and to pay a $1,000 fine, following a short hearing Friday morning.

District Judge Rodney Hartman convicted Schmucker of his latest driving-under-suspension charge and immediately ordered sentence.

The latest violation happened Dec. 8 in Earl Township, court documents show.

Schmucker’s prison sentence begins March 31, unless he files an appeal, which, his attorney said, he intends to do.

Schmucker stars as John in the Lancaster, Pa.-set Discovery Channel series Amish Mafia, which kicks off its third season on Tuesday.
