Forget Sips. Head on over to McCrossen’s Tavern for Rib Night every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. For $14 dollars you can get 1/2 rack of ribs with home made BBQ sauce, fries and a salad.
Every Tuesday, Rex 1516′s chef Justin Swain will reveal the restaurant’s weekly burger special. The burger, which is available on Tuesday and Wednesday evening at the South Street West restaurant is paired with a shot of Buffalo Trace and a pint of Philadelphia Brewing Company’s Newbold IPA for $15.
This week’s special is smoked sliced brisket, cherry pepper cheese sauce, bibb lettuce, atop Rex 1516’s house ground burger.

Every Wednesday, Twenty Manning Grill is engaging in some Center City Sips counter-programming, with internationally themed “friendly hours” specials. The Rittenhouse Square restaurant will offer two courses and a cocktail for $25. This is in addition to Twenty Manning’s normal happy hour deals of $3 beers and $7 wines. Tomorrow’s “destination” is Cuba and from 5 to 7 p.m. you can enjoy the following special:

Food trucks are heading to the City Hall courtyard. Starting today, in addition to Love Park, two to three food trucks will now be vending in the courtyard daily.
Each day will feature a different set of food trucks, vending from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with Wednesday vendors operating through 7 p.m. in conjunction with the re-installment of the “City Hall Presents” performance series (5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

Good News: For the final two Tuesdays and Wednesdays in May, Chick’s will be serving up a one-pound lobster with clams, mussels, and potatoes for only $18.
We hazard to guess there won’t be a better lobster deal this season, so get it while it lasts.

Odd Fellows Café in Washington Square West has been serving up some awesome weekly specials. On Mondays and Wednesdays a special prix fixe menu is available that changes each week. For $14.99 guests get a choice of one of two appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The special runs from 5 to 7 p.m. each night, be sure to get there early because all ordering must be done by 7 p.m.
On Tuesdays Odd Fellows does all-you-can-eat tacos for $13.99 and Thursdays features all-you-can-eat arepas for the same price, all between 5 and 7 p.m. Early birds get the worm and arepas with these specials too.
Of course Odd Fellows serves brunch on weekend mornings from 9-3 p.m. and the restaurant is always BYOB.

Beginning tonight, Wednesday, July 11th, Route 6 will be serving Maryland Steamed Crabs every Wednesday. Sold individually at market price (at a minimum of three per order), the new crab special will be a mid-week addition to the rest of Route 6’s regular menu.
