Philadelphia Magazine threw their Philly Cooks event last night where more than 50 restaurants competed in a number of categories including best savory dish, best sweet dish and dish of the year.


  • Savory – Sole Food, Yellow fin tuna with pickled jalapeño.
  • Sweet – Tavern 17, Mexican chocolate cheesecake.
  • Dish of the Year – Little Fish, Octopus Carpaccio.


Ken Alan of takes a look at Solefood inside the Loews Hotel on Market Street.
