Sketch’s Lunch Box Special

Sketch, the popular Fishtown vegan-friendly burger spot, is launching a new Lunch Box Special. For the summer Sketch will be offering a cheeseburger, small fries, and a can of soda for $10 on Mondays through Fridays from 11:30-3 p.m.

Available for eat-in or take-out, the Lunch Box was created for regulars looking to save a few on their lunch break. Though $10 seems steep for any deal that includes a can of soda, it seems like a steal when Sketch’s burgers pop in around $8-9.

Sketch Adds Empanadas, We Rejoice

We’ve mentioned before that we just love empanadas. So anytime we hear that a new spot is offering our favorite savory turnover, we celebrate. Fishtown’s Sketch Burger is now offering homemade empanadas, with a variety of fillings. Chef/owner Phyllis Farquhar is making crispy, crunchy empanadas with fillings of everything from chipotle chicken to jerked seitan. The empanadas are only $3.50 a piece and come with sauces like mango chutney, Harissa aioli, and vegan Caribbean green sauce.
