Out-of-town breweries coming to Philadelphia for a week’s worth of events sure seems to be a thing. Starting tonight and running through next weekend, Brooklyn’s Sixpoint is hosting a series of events. #GettingWarmer is Sixpoint’s celebration of its new winter seasonal, Global Warmer. The beer is described as an imperial red ale with toasted malts and “dynamic hop character.” Global Warmer weighs in at 7% alcohol by volume.
The kickoff event is at Lucky’s Last Chance in Manayunk. In addition to the winter seasonal, five other Sixpoint beers will be pouring and flights will be available.

Tonight is Johnny Brenda’s annual Sixpoint bash. Top Ten with Sixpoint brings ten beers from the Brooklyn brewery to Philadelphia including some rarities. And at 6 p.m. a surprise Sixpoint firkin will be tapped at 6 p.m. Sixpoint rep Jersey Dan will be in the house and spinning vinyl all night.

Sixpoint Brewery and North Bowl are joining together tonight for one last summer industry night party. The Northern Liberties bowling alley is offering $2 Sixpoint Sweet Action drafts and $4 Sweet Action and Tullamore Dew specials starting at 7 p.m.
At 9 p.m. a free tot bar will be available as well as $2 bowling. Sixpoint sales guy “Jersey” Dan will be spinning 80s records till midnight.

Got plans for tonight? If so, cancel them because tonight, April 24th, Han Dynasty and Sixpoint Brewery are hosting a collaborative beer dinner at Han Dynasty’s University City location.
Han Chiang and Sixpoint’s “Jersey” Dan Bisogno will be hosting the event (which will be only slightly less awesome than this), which starts at 7 p.m. Getting in the door will cost you $55 and yes, reservations are required.
