If you’re looking to settle down and start a family, but aren’t quite ready to uproot your life to the Philadelphia suburbs (or beyond), you might feel limited in your search for that perfect first home. Fortunately for you, though, this East Falls rowhome might just be the total package – and for a decent price.

Step inside to the spacious living room finished with gorgeous hardwood floors. The living room transitions right into a dining room that can fit your whole family comfortably. Next to the dining room is a completely updated kitchen with plenty of cabinetry and counter space.

Head up to the second floor and you will find three bedrooms. Although the master bedroom lacks that ever-so-desirable master bath, it does feature two separate closets. The third bedroom appears to be quite small, but don’t let that steer you away – it’s the perfect size for a nursery.

The basement is an added bonus. It is finished and can be used as an additional family room or den. A utility room with a washer and dryer is also located down here.

A short distance from the East Falls Train Station, Kelly Drive, the Schuylkill River Trail, Manayunk, Center City, and more, this little piece of greatness in East Falls is an empty nest just waiting to be filled.

Yes, by far a majority of Philadelphians live in rowhomes — almost 60 percent of the city! Maybe this is why a lot of people in this city hate their neighbors. Read more »

Fatal Shooting Leads to North Philly Rowhome Collapse

A fatal shooting led to the partial collapse of a North Philadelphia rowhome sometime before midnight, police said. The shooting and collapse took place on the 1600 block of Seybert Street near Girard College.

Cops say the victim was sitting in the driver’s seat of a late-model Hyundai when someone fired multiple times. Attempting to get away, the victim apparently flung his car into reverse, crashing into the vacant rowhome. It collapsed, burying the man under rubble.
