Philadelphia police have announced the arrest of a woman accused of two robberies outside Philadelphia gun shops, including one where the victim was shot.
Samiyyah Poteat, 21, was taken into custody Friday for her alleged involvement in the two gunpoint robberies. She lives near 46th and Walnut in West Philadelphia. The first alleged robbery took place on June 11th outside The Gun Range, near Percy and Spring Garden streets in the East Poplar/Eraserhood/Loft District/Spaghetti Warehouse neighborhood. Police say Poteat’s accomplice took a backpack containing two .22 caliber handguns while Poteat took items from the victim’s pockets.

Le Virtu, Adobe Cafe and Fuel were all hit by robberies overnight on Passyunk Avenue. NBC 10 has more on the story including an interview with Rocco Cima, owner of Fuel, which lost $150 in the theft.
NBC 10 reports that this is just the latest robbery in the area as at least two others happened over the past couple of weeks.
4 South Philly Restaurants Robbed Overnight [NBC 10]
NBC 10 reports two men with assault rifles held up a Garda armored car this morning, getting away with $105,000 in cash.
Police say the two men, wearing black bandanas over their faces, robbed an armored car at the TD Bank at Frankford and Wells in Tacony. The men then hopped into a white van before ditching that car to jump into a white Cadillac. They may have accomplices in that last car.
