Chef Val Stryjewski, who has been on staff at Prohibition Taproom since January has rolled out his spring menu with new items like cheese and charcuterie boards (a plus of being in the same restaurant group as Kensington Quarters) plus an extended snack section. Stryjewski, who has had stops at Lloyd, Le Cheri and a.kitchen among other spots, is also offering a Plate of the Day, which brings a comfort food classic to the forefront each day.
This Tuesday, May 10th, ProTap is hosting PhoTap 2. $10 gets you a bowl of pho (lamb or ramp and onion) with either a Neshaminy Creek Trauger Pils or Highwater Hefeweizen.

Aldine and Saint Benjamin’s Brewing are teaming up for 2016’s first Industry Night at Amis. Tonight, Monday, January 4th, Aldine’s George Sabatino will be serving up tasty bites while Saint Benjamin’s pours discounted beers.

Pub & Kitchen is offering a special “Industry Relief Party” this evening, Monday, September 28th for hospitality folk who need a break after a weekend of getting cut early or staring out into empty restaurants.
Starting at 9 p.m., the popular bar will be offering house cocktails for $6 plus “Cheap Beer / Cheap Whiskey / Good Times.”

Tonight, Monday July 6th Bing Bing Dim Sum will be guests at Amis’s Industry Night. The menu will include Italian-style roast pork bao from Bing Bing and spaghetti alla chittara with sesame and soy from Amis.
The fun kicks off at 10 p.m. The food is free and the drinks are cheap, provided you have proof of employment in the hospitality industry.

Most people look forward to the weekends to relax on their days off and sometimes go to a nice dinner. Well, servers are kind of the opposite. The weekend means long shifts, late nights and nonstop running around for demanding customers.
For any servers, bartenders or cooks who feel unappreciated, Alla Spina is hosting an industry night tonight, Monday, May 4th with free food and cheap drinks.

Charlie Was A Sinner is now hosting an Industry Night every Sunday and Monday from 9 pm to 2 am. All industry personnel receive 20% off regular priced food and drink items.
The restaurant is also offering $3 draft beer, $1 off bottled beer and $6 well shots. Along with these industry night drink specials, Charlie has also updated their happy hour food menu.
Their happy hour runs Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm and Friday 4 pm to 6 pm.

For Amis’ monthly industry night, Sancho and Jose Pistola’s will be the special guest restaurant. Chef Adan Trinidad will be bringing Cochinita Pibil Tacos and Mahi Mahi Ceviche to munch on. There will also be traditional and pomegranate margaritas as well as sangria pouring at reduced prices.
Shawnee Craft brewing company will also be on hand and pouring their Apiarius and Farmhouse Saison Cuvee. Free bottle pours of all three of Shawnee sours, Frambozenbier (barrel aged sour raspberry), Biere de Garde (barrel aged sour pumpkin saison) and Kriek (barrel aged sour cherry beer) will also be available.
As always, Amis industry night includes proof of hospitality employment, free food, cheap drinks and lots of fun.

Tonight, for Vetri Family’s monthly industry night, Amis is collaborating with the forthcoming Lo Spiedo for a night of rotisserie inspired dishes. Lo Spiedo chef Scott Calhoun is offering the following free bites:
- Calabrian Chili Salad
- Coal Roasted Eggplant with Pesto & Breadcrumbs
- Spit Roasted Cabbage with Gorgozonola Piccante
- Bucatini Alla Gricia
- Spit Roasted Chickens, Ribs, Brisket

Tonight’s monthly industry night at Amis will feature chef Brad Spence and co-conspirator Han Chiang of Han Dynasty creating a free feast centered on the “holy trinity” of pork, pickles and chicken wings.
Chiang promises to show off dishes that have never been seen at any of his Han Dynasty locations. Discounted drinks, including Yards Pynk, Neshaminy Creek County Line IPA and Tsingtao will be available. Beverage Director Steve Wildy will also be getting in on the fun with Tapioca Milk Punch, spiked Watermelon Cooler and Amis punch.
As always, bring a pay stub and valid ID for admission.
Han Dynasty – Old City [Foobooz]
Tonight’s industry night at Amis isn’t going to be scared off by a little snow. Join the Amis crew who will be throwing the bash this month with their friends from around the corner, Vetri.
Vetri’s chef Adam Leonti and company are preparing an amazing turducken-style roast that has to be seen to be believed. It’s a whole pig, stuffed inside a whole lamb, stuffed inside a whole veal.
Amis says they’re ready to feed 300+ people and will be pouring discounted wines, Lazzaroni spirits and La Colombe Pure Black coffee drinks to accompany the complimentary feast.
As always, 21+ and guests must bring an industry paystub for admission. The fun kicks off at 10 p.m.
