Zac’s Hamburgers Leads Local Charge at Lincoln Financial Field

Today, Aramark and the Eagles announced what new concessions options would be available for the 2015 season at Lincoln Financial Field. Among the highlights, Delaware County institution Zac’s Hamburgers is among the new options. Zac’s will have a stand on the lower level and will sell double burgers as well as a Zac Pack of four “fully loaded” burgers, sure to make the purchaser a hero when they return to their seats.

Save the Date: BBQ at the Ballpark


On August 23rd, the 7th Annual BBQ at the Ballpark happens at the Jetro lot next to Citizens Bank Park. From 2 to 7 p.m., there will be barbecue, beer, and games. Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse will be serving the food while Conshohocken Brewing, Neshaminy Creek Brewing, Philadelphia Brewing, Sly Fox Brewing, and Weyerbacher Brewing will be pouring the beer. Plus for the kid inside all of us, or the actual kid you bring, J-Dogs Amusements will be bringing the games.

This year, all proceeds will go to the Marianne E. Mebert Memorial Fund. The charity is close to the hearts of Rolling Barrel, as one of the co-founders recently lost their mother, Marianne Mebert, to Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Conshohocken Brewing Co. Opens Today


The Conshohocken Brewing Company opens to the public today at 5 p.m. The brewery and tap room is located at 739 E Elm Street, just steps from the Schuylkill River bike trail.

Co-founders John Remington and Ken Buonocore are joined by head brewer Andrew Horne.

Horne is a Villanova grad who began his brewing career at Yards Brewing before heading out west to the likes of Oskar Blues and Avery Brewing Co. Horne also took home a bronze medal for his ESB at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival. The tap room can pour up to ten beers at once. including what might be the young brewery’s flagship beer, Cascadian Dark Ale.
