We’re going to venture a guess here and assume that Chinese dynamo restaurateur Han Chiang is NOT a Jew (in the words of the immortal Adam Sandler). But he’s clearly versed enough in the ways of Christmastime cooking to know the stereotype of the Jew on Christmas: Chinese food and a movie. Well this year, he’s actually preparing a feast for Hanukkah and throwing in some Christmas craft beer for fun.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, February 26th, Chris and Heather Fetfatzes, who saw their Hawthornes Cafe closed by fire on Monday, will be hosting a huge Bell’s Brewery takeover at their other bar, the Cambridge.
24 Bell’s beers will be on draft in total, including the highly sought after HopSlam among others. The beers start pouring at 4 p.m. Get there early to taste that Hopslam.
The Cambridge [Foobooz]
On Wednesday, March 6th at 4 p.m. Bell’s Brewery takes over all 24 taps at The Cambridge. The only firkin of Hopslam in the city will be among the beers pouring from the highly regarded Michigan brewery. And you can compare that firkin to the draft version, because there will be two Hopslams pouring.
This Saturday, August 25th JG Domestic will be holding a Fish Fry dinner with Bell’s Brewery and there are still 10-seats left. The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and is $55 per person. The meal will be paired with brews from Bell’s and includes a reception before and a dessert after.
