And just like that, Be Well Philly Boot Camp 2014 is officially behind us. On Saturday, over 600 women gathered for our fourth annual fitness and wellness fest at the Drexel Recreation Center. We packed that place out, y’all, with fitness classes, expert chats, cooking demos, and, of course, our buzzing Marketplace.

By the looks of all your Tweets, Facebook comments, and Instagram pictures, you all had as much fun as I did. It was so amazing to meet some of you, and to bring Philly’s top wellness experts together, in one place, for you to get to know them.

Your Weekend Workout Playlist: Be Well Philly Boot Camp Sneak Peek

You probably think I’m a broken record at this point, but I just can’t help myself: Our now sold-out Be Well Philly Boot Camp just about here, and we’re all buzzing with excitement.

To give you a taste of what’s to come, I asked all the fitness instructors to send along a few of the songs they’ll be including in their class’s playlist. The result? One giant Be Well Philly Boot Camp playlist for the ages. I just love the diversity of the songs—yup, even the Eastern-influenced sitar songs from the Yoga Garden’s yoga class made the cut—and the happy energy they convey.

Be Well Philly Boot Camp Is Sold Out!

Just a quick heads up, ladies, that as of this morning, Be Well Philly Boot Camp is officially sold out. That means we won’t have tickets available for purchase at the door. It also means that the hundreds of women who were able to get tickets are going to bring the house down with their excitement and energy. And, y’all, I. Can. Not. WAIT.

So get excited. Like, really, really, really excited. This is going to be one fantastic blow out.

Did you know Ploome’s Christina Stoltz is teaching at mat Pilates class at Be Well Philly Boot Camp on Saturday? It’s called “Naughty Bits,” and it’s not just any ol’ Pilates class—it focuses on strengthening your core and back while supporting your pelvic floor. Ploome regulars call it “the Vagina Warrior” (ha!) and it’s one of the studio’s most popular classes.

T-minus three days until Be Well Philly Boot Camp 2014! Our team is working hard to put the finishing touches on our fab day of fitness and wellness to make sure you have the best day ever.

A few of you have asked about specific times for some of the programming, so I wanted to put it here, in a blog post, for your reference. Of course, you’ll get the full program when you arrive on Saturday, but this way you can start planning your day ahead of time.

What to Expect at Be Well Philly Boot Camp: Red Hot Dance Fitness

I’ve been talking your ear off for weeks about Be Well Philly Boot Camp on June 7th, so by now I’m sure you’re aware that we’ve got a pretty killer lineup for this year’s fit fest, including free massages, indoor and outdoor fitness classes, rock climbing, empowering speakers, cooking demos … I could go on. Clearly.

But today, I want you to meet Christine Gallagher DeFilippis (She just got married—congrats, Christine!), who will be heading up the big dance-fitness class in the Subaru Outdoor Fitness Tent at 10 a.m. She’s bringing the high-energy moves from her born-in-Philly workout, Red Hot Dance Fitness, but she’s looking for some help picking the music. Check out her video below, then leave a comment below with a song you’d like to hear during her Be Well Philly Boot Camp workout. We’re officially in the final countdown for Be Well Philly Boot Camp 2014! We’re so stinkin’ excited for this year’s lineup that we decided to get the party started early with a few free workout classes this week to get you hyped. Think of them as a sneak preview of what’s to come on Saturday.

Here’s what’s going down: On Wednesday and Thursday, Be Well Philly will be popping up in the rotunda at the Shops at Liberty Place with a few express workouts during your lunch break. Our friends at Red Hot Dance Fitness will lead a get-you-moving dance-fitness class on June 4th from noon to 12:30, and the folks from Yoga Garden will host a super fun, bring-your-own-mat yoga class from noon to 12:30 on June 5th. That’s right—you’ve got two opportunities to get your midday sweat on!
