It looks like more million dollar homes are coming to Bainbridge Street in Bella Vista. This time, it’s with a project developed by National Realty & Investment Advisors (NRIA) called Bedford Estates.

As Naked Philly points out, the McCann Team has published an information packet that shows 7 large homes replacing the Patriot Parking lot at 7th and Bainbridge, adjacent to the Good King Tavern.

According to a site plan in the packet, four homes will front 7th Street, two will front Kater Street and one large L-shaped pad will be placed on Bainbridge Street. The grouping modern day mansions made of brick and metal bays will share an interior parking lot, which looks to be access via Bainbridge Street.

Seven new homes are being planned at the Patriot Parking Lot near 7th and Bainbridge Street in Bella Vista. The T-shaped lot sits adjacent to the Good King Tavern and catty-corner to another project near Nomad Pizza. Naked Philly reports that the project has already received approval from the zoning board of adjustment and the Bella Vista Neighbors Association didn’t oppose the plans, although “some token architectural feedback offered, but nothing life-changing.”

An interesting thing is happening just south of South Street. As Mr. Fox points out, there are a string of major projects in the pipeline that make will make the two streets at least work in tandem with eachother, if not create direct competition. As in, South Street is where to go to get a little rowdy, but head to Bainbridge if you want a classier night. Dont believe us?  Read more »

We’re not used to thinking of Graduate Hospital as the land of million-dollar homes, but the 1400 block of Bainbridge Street has raised the bar in that department. Two new townhomes currently under construction at its east end are raising it even further.

Or would, if they were for sale.

These two cinderblock shells will by the end of the year become enormous Italianate mansions, each containing a total of 20,000 square feet of usable space – 16,000 of it indoors, and 4,000 of it outdoors on three large decks.
