Ardé Osteria is unleashing its wood-fired pizzas, salumi and mozzarella bar, handmade pasta and more tonight in downtown Wayne.
The Italian BYO’s chef staff consists of Pino DiMeo, Antimo DiMeo and Scott Stein. Expanding upon their first venture– Pizzeria DiMeo’s– in Roxborough, the cuisine combines rustic Italian and local flavors.

Pino DiMeo, who opened Pizzeria DiMeo in Andorra in 2012 is now opening Mozzeria, a BYOB osteria and wood-fired pizzeria in Wayne.
DiMeo plans a mozzarella and salumi bar that specializes in Italian cheeses and cured meats. Last month, DiMeo and his son took a research trip to Naples in pursuit of the best mozzarella they could find.
Mozzeria will be located at 133 North Wayne Avenue, right next to the Wayne train station. DiMeo aims to open the restaurant in spring of 2014.
UPDATE: Mozzeria will now be named Ardè.
