Fun fact: Anna Crusis is the first feminist women's choir in the U.S. Artistic Director Miriam Davidson constantly focuses on building repertoire with an eye to social justice. Check them out — they perform all over the Philadelphia area.
This group has some of the most insanely talented folks I've ever seen. They mess with gender on the regular, and challenge stereotypes on the daily. Their numbers range from classic burlesque to old-school drag to performances that really make you think—with a side of hilarity thrown in. I have a crush on all of them.
These dedicated, hard-working women put their all into organizing the Dyke March every year. I am in awe of how much time and effort each person puts in to making sure the march is an inclusive, affirming event for everyone. *swoon*
