The votes are in and your taste buds have spoken! Drumroll, please.

The top six burgers (in no particular order) competing at this year’s Budweiser Battle of the Burger are…

“Irish Rover Burger” – Irish Rover Station House

An Angus beef patty with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing on a fluffy pretzel bun.

“Double Bacon Delight” – Maggie’s Waterfront Café

A 100% Angus beef and smoked bacon patty, stuffed with cheddar-jack cheese and then topped with even more smoked bacon and cheddar-jack cheese, plus Maggie’s special BBQ sauce on a brioche roll.

“The Pig & Fig” – Water Wheel Tavern

The eight-ounce, chargrilled Angus beef burger is covered with creamy brie, braised pork, arugula and fig jam, served on a toasted brioche bun.

“Kielbasa Burger” – Lumpy Magee’s Pub and Grub

An eight-ounce, ground pork butt patty, rubbed with cracked black pepper, garlic and kosher salt and topped with Budweiser-braised sauerkraut, sweet Vidalia onions, goat cheese and spicy brown mustard, served on a toasted pub roll.

“Don’t Judge Me Burger” – Lions Head Bar & Grill

Cheddar, avocado, fried egg, barbecue pulled pork, smoked paprika aioli, onion rings… The most indulgent ingredients top this savory, certified Angus beef patty.

“Porkzilla” – The Union Tap

An Asian-fusion burger seasoned with ginger and wasabi and smothered with thick-cut pork belly, Asian barbecue sauce and house-made pickled slaw.

These six scrumptious burgers will duke it out at Budweiser’s Battle of the Burger on Thursday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m at the Piazza at the Schmidt’s Commons. Try unlimited burger samples and vote for the best of the best to take the title.

Enjoy outdoor games, free giveaways and live music, and (of course) refreshing Budweiser and other non-alcoholic drinks will be served. Be sure to stop by the leather koozie station for personalized typesetting, then kick back and relax in any of the many seating areas.
