You’ve Never Seen Diamond Rings Like These Before

The five fashion trends we're obsessing about right now.

You’ve Never Seen Diamond Rings Like These Before
Bario Neal was already famous for its unexpected baubles, but the new fall collection takes it one step further with delicate clusters, uniquely shaped solitaires and textured bands, all of which add cool-girl cred to wedding bling. The stones are ethically sourced and traceable, and the metals are fair-mined or reclaimed. 700 South 6th Street, Queen Village, bario-neal.com.

Shopping Shake-ups
Rittenhouse footwear shop Benjamin Lovell Shoes kicks off November with a new, larger location at 1728 Chestnut Street. Meanwhile, Washington Square West welcomes women’s boutique Kin (1014 Pine Street), which stocks cool-girl labels like The Great, Lem Lem and Eugenia Kim. In Ardmore, PucciManuli has doubled its floor space, moving to a bigger, better outpost at 2 East Lancaster Avenue. Moon + Arrow has opened a sweet new kids’ boutique, Little Moon (729 South 4th Street), just down the street from its women’s shop in Queen Village.

Hand in Hand Rolls Out New Design
Philly photographer Courtney Apple began Hand in Hand in a quest to give back (soap and clean water are donated with every purchase), and it’s been wildly successful: The line is available at big names like Target and, soon, QVC. And now, the fair-trade brand is debuting cute new packaging. Look for it on a shelf near you.

Local Designers Join Forces
Ardmore brand American Trench has expanded beyond its beloved trench coats by collaborating with other Philly-area makers. Standout items include limited-edition jeans and a jacket by Gentry + Rose, a rabbit-fur hat by Whistler Civilian (pictured), and a patchwork bag by Hamid Holoman. Americantrench.com.

The Lazy Dresser’s Dream Brand
The number of local clothing lines that debuted fall collections is impressive, but Fishtown-based Voloshin’s was the best of the batch. With a pared-down palette of earthy olive greens, creamy alabaster, rich navy and black, the pieces are extra-wearable and—what joy!—already match most of your wardrobe. Voloshin.us.
