Finally, we have confirmation that those Bloomies rumors were true: A Bloomingdale’s Outlet store is coming to Liberty Place in November. (Cue cheers.)

According to a press release, the Outlet will be located on the second level of the shopping center, in a vast 22,700-square-foot space (formerly home to Christopher’s Men’s). You’ll find off-price womenswear, menswear, children’s and home goods.

The Philly location is one of three Bloomingdale’s Outlet stores to open this fall; the chain is also opening outposts in New York City and San Diego. It’s the most recent in a string of outlet stores to come to Philly in the past year — Century 21 and Nordstrom Rack both opened in October; Banana Republic opened a Factory Store on Chestnut Street in December — and it’s illustrative of the new focus of department stores, most of which are choosing to invest in off-price locations rather than traditional full-price stores.

Stay tuned for renderings and more information.
