David J. Witchell Is Opening a New Spa and Salon In Peddler’s Village

Bucks County ladies will soon have two locations to get beautified.

David Witchell’s expansive Newtown salon.

David Witchell is to Bucks County what Valerie Safran and Marcie Turney are to Midtown Village. The salon and boutique owner is a booming fixture on would-be sleepy State Street in Newtown, with two boutiques, a gift shop and a massive salon. Now, after two decades of dominating this charming strip, David and Galina Witchell are expanding their beauty empire to Peddler’s Village in Lahaska with a brand-new spa and salon set to open this fall.

If you couldn’t nab that coveted Friday afternoon blowout before, well, your odds just increased a lot. And even if this location is more convenient for you than the Newtown flagship, you won’t have to worry about breaking up with your stylist: In addition to bringing in new blood, current staff will make appearances at the new location, too.

The Peddler’s Village salon will offer the same treatments as Witchell’s original one-stop beauty haven in Newtown. Expect nine new spa treatment rooms on two levels. In the meantime, we’ll be watching Witchell take over the world. Or, at the very least, Bucks.
