So here’s a little secret I’ve been carrying around for months: Fabric Row shoe boutique Bus Stop is launching its own line of shoes. And, guys, the shoes are so good.

Bus Stop owner Elena Brennan helmed the design of the new collection, which I previewed a few weeks ago over tea (Brennan is British, and a pretty porcelain teacup is her version of our ubiquitous Starbucks cups). The line is a collaboration with All Black, a Taiwanese shoe company that’s a cult-fave of in-the-know shoe obsessives. Brennan’s collection includes 12 oxfords, each one named after an iconic Hollywood starlet.

The pairs are cooler, sleeker and much more comfortable than your garden-variety ballet flat. Though there’s a distinct masculine edge (they are oxfords, after all), the quirky color-blocking and lack of laces gives the shoes a touch of femininity and modernity.

So you want them all, right?

The collection is limited-edition; only 15 pairs of each style have been produced. Which means you’d better act fast. The shoes officially go on sale to the public at our next Shoppist After Hours event, which kicks off at 6pm next Thursday, March 12th.

We’ll have drinks, food, a Q&A with Brennan about the capsule collection and, of course, shopping. RSVP to ShoppistRSVP@phillymag.com to reserve your spot. A tip: You’ll want to show up, because I have a strong feeling that these shoes are going to sell out in a snap.

The details: Thursday, March 12th, 6pm to 9pm, at Bus Stop, 727 South 4th Street, Queen Village. RSVP: ShoppistRSVP@phillymag.com.
