Breaking Sale News: Skirt Is Having a Huge Pre-Holiday Sale

Skirt Boutique email subscribers were sent a cryptic mass email yesterday reading: “Something big is coming, Wednesday November 5th” in bold white letters on a black background. Naturally curious, we wondered: Is it a new brand? A new store? Another awesome service like their style boxes?!

Well, it’s none of those things. It’s something better. I chatted with owner Maureen Doron, and she gave me the skinny: For the first time in 13 years, the boutique is having a massive pre-holiday sale, and it startson Thursday.

“It’s 20 percent off the whole store,” Doron explained. “Not one thing is excluded.”

To get you even more psyched and to sweeten the deal, the shop is also launching a loyalty program this Thursday (think: free gift cards when you spend a certain amount).

Here’s what to expect: The entire shop will be discounted 20 percent starting this Thursday at 9am, and will continue through Sunday when they’ll be open for the sale from 12pm to 4pm. Then, from Monday to Wednesday, the sale will drop to 10 percent.

Doron gave me another bit of intel: The boutique is now carrying cult-fave brand ALC, which will be discounted. Also look out for a slew of holiday dresses by Rebecca Taylor (ahem, holiday parties are right around the corner…) alongside brands like Vince, Elizabeth and James, and Alice + Olivia.
