In what appears to be J.Crew’s quest to take over the world (or at the very least our entire closet and makeup drawer), the brand is now dipping its toes into the perfume arena. On Monday, J.Crew is launching its first fragrances, created in collaboration with perfumer Arquiste and inspired by a gallery show by Peggy Guggenheim.
The scents, called “No. 31” and “No. 57”, apparently took a year to develop and will retail for $25 (10ml) and $78 (50ml). You’ll be able to buy them in stores and online. As for how they’ll actually smell? Think old-timey cocktail party: Expect notes of aged whisky, cedarwood and vanilla. Read more about the line here, and check it out for yourself on Monday.
Now let’s all just wait for J.Crew to dive into home decor. You know it’s got to be coming soon, right? (If the gorgeous perfume bottles are any indicator, it would be pretty spectacular.)
