Another Sad Store Closing: Claire Dickson Boutique

After more than 30 years, the Lafayette Hill shop is shutting its doors.

Claire-DicksonOver at Shoppist, news of store closings usually are met with loud gasps, long sighs and, if a store is really, really good, cries of “Noooooooo.” (Those resonated down the halls yesterday, when we got wind of Arcadia in NoLibs closing.) Today, there were more audible gasps, as we got word that 30-plus-year-old Lafayette Hill’s Claire Dickson Boutique is closing.

No word on when the exact date is—we have a call out to the owner—but right now, the entire store is up to 75 percent off. Click here for all the brands they carry (the vast list includes boutique regulars like DVF, Autumn Cashmere, Trina Turk and Nanette Lepore, but also some harder-to-find brands like Alberta Ferretti and Vkoo). We’ll keep you posted on closing details, but for now, stop by, scoop up the major deals, and say thanks for over three decades of shopping.
