At long last, Ted Baker London has a home in Philadelphia. Finally Philly natives can enjoy the classic yet contemporary wares of this quirky British designer at his brand new Liberty-Bell-meets-London-bells-themed store.

On May 2, the brand officially ushered eager customers into its welcoming and whimsical store with its quintessentially British hospitality.  The colorful spring/summer 2014 collection stole the show, as bright colors and bold prints set the stage for a spirited Philly launch. Now, as if the swarm of shoppers perusing Ted Baker’s goods this weekend wasn’t enough excitement, Ted’s keeping up the momentum by hosting a 20-percent-off, all-day event on Thursday, May 8.

Here are the details:

  • 20-percent-off the current spring/summer 2014 collection all day in-store and online.
  • The first 20 people who mention this post (ding, ding, ding!) will receive a complimentary, limited-edition, Ted Baker King of Prussia tote bag. (You’re welcome.)
  • From 5-8 p.m., sample free Fever-Tree premium sparkling beverages, as well as a swig (or two -- just don’t start stumbling) of Monkey Shoulder London Whiskey.
  • RSVP for said event, and you’ll automatically be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift card, to be used in-store or online.

Oh, and when you take your dressing-room selfie (you know you will), throw in #TedSS14Event and #TedLovesKOP and be featured on the store’s digital screens in a real time hashtag gallery .
