8 Local Sales To Hit This Weekend

Where to shop now to get the most bang for your buck.

sale-womanWhy we love January’s end-of-season sales: It’s still freezing, so you’re getting great deals on fall/winter pieces you can wear right away. Here are the sales we’re most excited for now. Happy shopping!

Denim Habit: Take advantage of this trifecta: 20 percent off all new arrivals and basics (including denim), 40 to 90 percent off all fall and winter merch (including jackets and sweaters), and 50 percent off all women’s AG Jeans through January 20th.

Peter Kate: They’re touting it as the biggest sale of the year, and they’ve got good reason to: Right now, get 50 percent off your first item, 60 percent off your second item, and 70 percent off your third item. Even better? The most expensive piece gets the biggest discount.

Per Lei: Starting today, enjoy up to 50 percent off purchases through January 13th. Plus, buy three pieces or more and get an additional 10 percent off.

Plage Tahiti: Throughout the month of January, nearly everything (that means denims, sweaters, accessories, dresses, shoes, tees ...) is 60 to 90 percent off (excluding antique and estate jewelry).

Shop Sixty Five: Head to this gem (in Doylestown and Gladwyne) for up to 50 percent off brands including Joie, Krisa, Lanston, Helmut Lang, Burning Torch and Raquel Allegra. Plus, up to 40 percent off women’s denim.

Skirt: Score 30 to 50 percent off everything at this Main Line mainstay (think: Diane von Furstenberg, Theory and Alice + Olivia).

Sheridan Square: Get up to 70 percent off all fall/winter styles at the Merion boutique.

And mark your calendars: Nicole Miller's semi-annual sale (50 to 75 percent off select styles) kicks off at its Bellevue and Manayunk locations on Wednesday, January 15th. It lasts through the 31st, but you'll want to get there early for the best stuff.
