Walnut Street’s Anthropologie is Getting a Petites Section

My fellow shorties, it's time to celebrate.

Something most people don’t realize about me: I’m five-feet-three-inches tall. (Even my husband is a little bit surprised when I take my heels off and drop down about a foot.) So this news excites me just as much as it probably excites you: Walnut Street’s Anthropologie is getting a whole petites section next week. (Go on, take a few minutes to dream about never having to hem your jeans again.)

The petites section is opening in exactly one week, on Thursday, October 17th. They’ll be selling a range of petite styles, along with a new exclusive petite collection by designer Corey Lynn Calter (think: super-chic boldly patterned dresses and separates that don’t even have standard-size counterparts—take that, leggy ladies!). There will be a specially trained manager on-hand to deal specifically with petite problems and fit issues, and the collection will be vast: cocktail dresses, sweaters, jackets, festive holiday pieces and more. You’ll find the collection on the first floor, in the room to the right of the registers.

Hey Anthro, maybe a kid’s store will be next?
