What a wonderful place! I have NEVER submitted reviews on-line...EVER... and doing so now shows how much I mean this. Karen gave me a 1 hour full body Swedish massage that hit every spot in need...indeed! She was fabulous; for the mind, body and soul! I have had many many massages before and this topped them all. A special thank you-shout-out to Elaina (manicurist at the spa) for her recommendation...and to my friends who gave me the certificate. It was perfect! Can't wait to go back for more!

I always have a great experience at Susan Mathews Salon with Michelle but they really made me look and feel like a princess for my Wedding Day. A Big Thank You to Kelly and Heather who did a great job on my hair and makeup. Thanks again Sherry T

Had a hot stone massage..Wow, it was amazing. I get massages monthly, but thought I'd try this salon...the massage therapist Karen was terrific. I would highly recommend the salon...very tranquil setting!

Thank You Thank You Thank You! SusanMatthew, by far, offers the highest quality services around. THis is the type of salon you would find in Manhattan or Miami...Finally, a place where I can go that knows their stuff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUSANMATTHEW salon!!!!!!

Since my wife is addicted to this place, I jsut get her a gift card for birthdays, etc. The staff always helps me pick out the perfect package for her. A super classy place with a top notch staff...simply the best around.

I am a curly girl who was out of control until I met Angie! If you have curly hair, you know how hard it is to trust someone to touch a curl. Angie is a talented hair stylist who knows how to control all curls with patience and style. She understands that no 2 curls are alike on the same head. She introduced me to the Deva cut along with their products...I finally love my curls! What I love about visiting Angie for my Deva cut, is the atmosphere at Susan Matthew. Everyone is warm, friendly, and relaxed to make my experience wonderful. I can go as I am (a mother of 4 who doesn't have time to follow the lastest trends) and feel that I welcomed and enjoy a day of pampering! Thank you, Angie and Susan Matthew!!!

I have been coming to Susan Matthew since last June, I was referred by a close friend and I love my hair! I finally have found a stylist that can work wonders with my hair! She recommended Keratin Hair Straightening for me, and I have to say I wish I knew about this service 20 years ago! I was really surprised to hear someone mention attitudes in the salon, because they seem like they have a great group of girls there. The last time I was in for my cut, there was a backup at the shampoo bowls and one of the other stylists washed me so my stylist wouldn't run late! Katie, Andrea, and Susan at the desk are more than accomodating and always have a smile and offer me a water or a glass of wine! I recommend everyone I know to this salon!

We at Susan Matthew Salon Spa take extreme pride in our attention to detail and customer service. As the owner of Susan Matthew I can proudly say that after being open for less than one year we have distinguished with an award from "Best of Philly" while the local papers are calling us "New York, without the attitude or the price tag." If the person that posted the previous review would like to call the salon anytime I would be happy to discuss their experience and do whatever I can to make them happy. Unless of ccourse this is a fake review?

I went to Susan Matthews only because my husband had got me a giftcard to there. I went to get my hair colored and cut. I went in it is very beautiful in there, but don't let the looks fool you. The receptionist was very rude to me as soon as I walked in and right away it gave me the impression that the whole salon was stuck up. Then I go to meet the stylist that was going to do my hair, she was not very friendly at all and seemed like she was in a rush and why was I sitting in her chair. It made me feel very uncomfortable and I was nervous as it was. Overall, the haircolor & cut turned out okay. It was nothing special. You could go to any salon and get the same look done for less. The salon is nice, but don't let the looks fool you, the attitudes behind it are horrible. I would not recommend it and I would not go there again.

Susan Matthews Salon Spa gave an entire days earnings to Gilda's Club Delaware Valley and invited its members to come experience one of their offered services.As a member I could not thank them enough for the absolutely amazing pedicure I received. Beautiful decor, relaxing, personable technicians, and a wonderful experience. My suggestion is to make an appointment and support this local spa who gives back.

I had the pleasure of having the best massage and pedicure ever. The salon/spa was beautiful, relaxing and spotless. The employees were courteous and helpful. The massage room was so quiet and peaceful and the therapist was completely intune with my needs. I leaft relaxed and refreshed. My pedicure was fantastic, the chairs were like nothing I ever experienced and the huge windows with the view of the trees made you feel like you truly escaped. The nail specialist made me feel right at home and her attention to detail was like none other. You could tell attention was put into every deatil of this place from the fresh flowers to the lemon slice that was added to the exfolient for the pedicure. You truly felt pampered here. My follow up appointments are already made. Thanks to Susan at Susan Matthew Salon and Spa... You honestly made my day!
