I went to jans last year in quick desperate need of a prom dress. the sales woman was extremely pushy and kept trying to convince my mom to pay more money then she wanted to. I bought a dress there regardless because I was desperate. This year I returned for the prom this year and the woman told me you only get 45 minutes to try on dresses. There was barely anyone in the salon so I didn't understand why. And what really annoyed me is she set the timer before she let me look at dresses. The majority of the 45 minutes I wasn't even trying anything on. I came back on a more hectic week because I didn't find anything the first time because it was still early to shop. I tried several dresses on and the sales woman out them on the hook outside my room. I came out and they were gone. So unorganized. false advertising as well, I looked on their website every week going insane over so many dresses under the new arrivals section. I went to jans and they didn't have any if them and told me they couldn't notify me when they'd come in. when I asked about it I got attitude. jans may look nice but the service and the way it's run is awful

Jans is great for any mother of the bride. I was so nervous to start looking and Jans took me under their wing. I had no idea what I was looking, the sales women helped me pick out some styles she thought would look great, and she was right. We tried on so many Jans was so accommodating. I ended up with an amazing dress and amazing jewelry to go with it.

a few weeks ago I was in Jan's Boutique looking for a sweet16 dress with my mom who a few years ago went blind. It is very hard to get my mom to leave the house, even for her own doctors appointments but I begged her to come with me because I wanted to be able to tell my friends at my party that me and my mom found my dress together, she finally agreed and we went into jans the monday before my party, the sales girl who was helping me was so nice, she even talked to my mom and didnt treat her like she was blind or an alien. after I found my party dress the sales girls turns to my mom and asked her if she was ready, my mom replied i'll just give you my credit card since I can't see and the sales girl said no no, not are you ready to pay, are you ready to find a dress for your daughters party, my mom laughed thinking she was joking, even I thought she was joking but the girl was serious. after I thought about it, it was a really good idea so we talked her into trying on dresses. the sales girl helped my mom in and out of a few dresses and for once I didn't have to be the one dressing her, my mom stepped out of the dressing room holding onto the girl and I started crying, my mom looked so beautiful and I didn't even remember her being so pretty under the constant sweat pants and hoodies. I hugged her and cried and told her how beautiful she was and she said I feel beautiful. The store owners came up to me and my mom and said they'd like to give my mom her dress half off just for being so pretty, she thanked them from then until now for treating her so nice and like a normal person, we both bought our dresses and left in a better mood then when we came in. My party was spectacular and all night people were complementing and talking to my mom and making her smile and telling us both how much we look alike and how beautiful we are, it was the best night I ever had and I wont forget it, all because of me and the people at jans dress boutique. thank you for making my mom smile.

I was looking for a couture gown for the pageant that I am going to be in. I have been looking for the perfect dress and couldn't find anything that was unique and would stand out on stage. I went to Jan's and they were very helpful. It was great because they really seemed to have experience with pageant contestants. I selected a few dresses and found the winning gown. My dress was gorgeous. I feel like a winner in this gown!

I had a great experience in your store. I ended up purchasing two cocktail dresses and one couture gown. The customer service was phenomenal. I was able to purchase my gowns and have alterations done all in the same day. This was great and all your staff was so helpful and kind. Thank you and I will be back.

I was so impressed with Jan’s Boutique. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that I found your boutique and found the dress of my dreams. It is truly a breathe of fresh air from the usual department stores and some of the other boutiques I have visited. I was greeted with smiling faces and willing to help me find the perfect dress for my son’s wedding. I have to say at first I was worried about dress shopping, but after coming to Jan’s my fear subsided. I enjoyed my experience here and am encouraging my other child to get engaged, so I can come back for MORE dress shopping!

Bought a lovely dress that required a long line bra. Was fitted for the dress and the bra by a lovely sales person. She brought my merchandise to the counter for me when I was ready to pay. Either she or the gentleman who rang up my purchase inadvertently placed a "B" cup bra in my bag instead of the "D" that I tried on and needed. Didn't realize until the day I was wearing the dress. Needless to say, I live in PA and had to find a replacement in a hurry. When I called to return the bra via mail and have my visa card credited, they didn't apologize and would only issue a store credit. This is such poor service. I hardly need a credit to their store for $70 that is only good for one year. What crooks!!! Own your mistakes and apologize and do the right thing. I have been in the retail industry for over 25 years and I have never heard of such crap.

So, I needed to find a dress for my sweet sixteen. I wanted to get a dress that I wouldn’t see my guests/friends wearing to my party. I went to Jan’s and found so many dresses to choose from. I think I may have tried on the whole store. But, I did find my dress. It was so cute and showed off my figure. It actually reminded me of “Sex in the City” and I wanted to be high fashion. The dress was expensive, but I know it was very good quality and I will wear it again to different events in high school and college. I love this dress and can’t wait to show it off at my party!

My Stephen Yearick mother of the bride dress arrived yesterday and I can't begin to tell you how delighted I am with it. The color is gorgeous, and the dress itself is even more beautiful than I anticipated on. I was so pleased that it arrived sooner than expected and was very impressed with the way the entire staff especially Nicole whom was very patient and determined to find the right dress for me! Thanks to you, next to the bride herself, I should be the "belle of the ball".
