I have been going to Haig off and on for nearly 13 years. It's an hour drive so I do not get there every time, but every time he cuts my hair, people stop me to compliment my hair. The salon has a nice feel - not snooty. Haig is a blast. Posted by Nikki: Apr. April 10th, 2011 at 7:19 PM

I was Hair over Heels with my experience at Haig and co.
I saw Andre'. Not only was he easy on the eyes , he gave me a new sexy cut that fell perfectly and requires minimal up keep. He explained in detail what he was doing, and gave me some pointers how to blow dry my hair at home.
Andre' also painted a mixture of highlights and low-lights that look so natural. He says " This combo will help stretch the visits". This way it does not become to high of maintenance. It's a little pricey but well worth it :) Posted by kelly: Oct. October 1st, 2009 at 7:34 PM

I went to this salon for a little more than a year and wasn't all that impressed; very very surprised they received Best of for 2008. Ten bucks they don't get it again. Maybe one of those 20 hair salon's on Lancaster Ave between Bryn Mawr and Ardmore should get it this year.
For the money the folks at OMG and Millenium are just as talented and more professional. At Haig I often noticed the staff texting, doing each others hair, doing their make up at the front desk. I guess they were bored. I found my hair cuts to be okay, nothing cutting edge or complementing. Also, they overprocessed my hair twice. Perhaps they were busy texting.
Also, it seemed like the place had been undergoing construction every time I visited. Posted by A: Sep. September 12th, 2009 at 9:47 PM
