I may have mentioned this before, but just in case you’ve forgotten, I could not be happier about the upswing in sparkle that’s been cropping up the past few seasons. I’m a child of the ‘80s, what can I say? I love a sequin and probably always will.

Sequins started popping up last spring, and they’ve been slowly gaining momentum towards this, the Holy Grail season of anything sparkly: the holidays! And with the roster of holiday parties I’ve got coming starting tomorrow night and stretching into, oh, 2010, I need some outfits. And, not surprisingly, I’m bound and determined that they all glitter, glean, sparkle and shine in some festive way, be it subtle or over-the-top. So believe it or not, this is just a sampling of my Want It List.
