Woo-Hoo Sale!

The saddest thing ever? My very dear friend’s wedding shower is this weekend. No, no, no, I’m not a bad maid of honor — but I will be out of town, and therefore absent at the sale the city waits for all year (seriously).

The saddest thing ever? My very dear friend’s wedding shower is this weekend.

No, no, no, I’m not a bad maid of honor — but I will be out of town, and, therefore, absent at the sale the city waits for all year (seriously). The sale when two of our fave Old City boutiques — Third Street Habit and Sugarcube — band together for the awesomest, fabulousest warehouse sale ever, appropriately named SugarHabit.

Only this Saturday, August 9th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 213 New Street (a new location this year), apparel, accessories and shoes from these two lovely shops — styles from A.P.C., Isabel Marant, Dolce Vita, Twelfth Street, Sass & Bide, Splendid, and so, so very much more — will be marked down between 50 and 90 percent. There will be bins of scarves and tees and other wondrous things between $10 and $20. If you pay cash, you get another 5-percent off — and, whatever you buy, you’ll receive a promo card from both boutiques offering you 20-percent off one fall item at each shop.

Sigh. Sarah, you are lucky I love you.
