Who doesn’t dream of perfect pieces custom-built for every nook and cranny in their house? Well, some lucky Philadelphians have been taking advantage of Philly resident Peter Handler’s skills and timelessly modern aesthetic to do just that. He started crafting jewelry over 25 years ago, but knew that he was meant for something bigger, which is why he added his fluid aesthetic (and signature bright colors and curvy lines) to chairs, sofas, cabinets and tables that he crafts using aluminum, wood, glass and upholstery. We love the sculptural elements of the Metropolitan sofa and this cabinet (two of his newer designs), but check out examples of his past work on his site. See his work in person at the Sedgwick Cultural Center in Mt. Airy during a furniture showcase on December 5th through the 7th. Prices start around $1,000.
