So it looks like with Steve & Barry’s potentially closing, Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bitten line, which the $8.98-or-less retailer carries exclusively, has officially become a collector’s item. Or at least that’s the only reasonable explanation I can find for Bryn Mawr’s Greene Street Consignment (which also has a South Street and a soon-to-open Lambertville location) to be selling a black, strapless, bow-fronted dress by SJP for $14, a 55-percent markup, while the S&B’s less than 10 miles away in King of Prussia had the same one on its racks on the same day for, yes, $8.98.

Granted, I did pick up a fabulous pair of like-new Armani Exchange jeans at Greene Street for $16, which fit way, way better than any of the denim at S&B’s, but still.
