Yikes. People are starting to think about fall. It’s not just JCPenney’s back-to-school commercial that’s a mini-remake of The Breakfast Club. Eagles games are on television. And city workers are buzzing around the elementary school near my house. Thankfully, the new issue of Philadelphia Home is out, and we keep the coming months in perspective with a poolside outdoor entertaining feature in Bryn Mawr that shows you how to keep summer alive well into quote-unquote fall. There’s yummy recipes from our food editor, April White. A beautiful landscape by Glen Mills-based Outerspaces. And people outside enjoying the weather of “Indian summer.” Because football or no, I’m not giving up that easy. And neither should you. Pick up a copy and plan your next alfresco celebration.

Does anyone know where to find the brass owl on pg. 43, along with the wooden figure? No shop was listed with the photo. I couldn't find another reference to it. Can you? Please help!!
