Australian makeup artist Napoleon Perdis has gained quite a following since debuting in 1995. He gussies up the ladies in Australia’s Next Top Model (yes, the down-under version of Lady Banks’ big, American-based hit); he was the official makeup sponsor of the 2007 Primetime Emmys; and I have an Australian acquaintance who still begs her visiting mother to lug over suitcases of his goods, even after years in the States.

The good news? He’s slowly making his way over here. And in our area, that really means two places: Both 3000BC (in Chestnut Hill and Wayne, on the PA side) and Bernard’s Salon & Day Spa (in Marlton and Cherry Hill, on the NJ side), as of this summer, are carrying the full line of his fabulous, colorful concoctions. The products are easy to use, the packaging is sleek — and some of the names (Peep Show Mascara, to name one) are just as fab as the products themselves (which I can vouche for — this mascara definitely draws attention to your peepers!).

So shop freely … no more shipping!
