Shopping: Old City Switcharoo

By Jessica Blatt

Foster’s Homeware is scooting over to a four-times-larger space at 399 Market, and adding new lines and a back-of-store area called “Apt. 399,” a combo showroom/demo kitchen/private-event space. In Foster’s old spot at 124 North 3rd will go Sugarcube, where Elisa Buratto will still sell women’s lines we covet, and start stocking clothes for guys (from the beloved A.P.C. line), too (Foster’s Homeware, 399 Market Street, 215-925-0950, shopfosters.com, and Sugarcube, 124 North 3rd Street, 215-238-0825, sugarcube.us).

Sugarcubes New Home for Men a Women
Posted by Sugarcube | Oct. 22, 2008 at 1:44 PM
COMMENT:
Beautifully spacious Sugarcube houses both contemporary and vintage fashion for men and women. This industrial lodge environment features curated labels such as A.P.C., Steven Alan, Rogues Gallery, Saja and Bing Bang Jewelry, to name a few. Sugarcube is the go-to place for the fashion minded and for those who appreciate quality products in a great retail environment. Reflective of Philadelphia's industrial past, Sugarcube personifies all that is best about Old City and fashion in Philadelphia.
