WHAT WE’RE SHOPPING FOR: One-Shoulder Cocktail Dresses

We’re loving this season’s hottest silhouette.

Maria Bianco Nero satin and feather dress
The look started creeping back this spring … I’d see a top here, a dress there, all with the one-shouldered look I hadn’t really rocked — or thought about — since the college years. But then, this fall and winter, it became full blown, and now you can’t walk into a store that sells cocktail dresses without finding a few options with the asymmetrical silhouette. And, I must say, I think I remember now why I used to like it so much: It’s hot. Check out a few of our faves from local boutiques, and maybe even go grab a new one for that big hot date you’ve got coming up in oh, say, a little over two weeks.
