ON THE HOMEFRONT: Stealing Ideas From the Homes We Feature
Our neighborhood Home editor pops by with her current obsession
By Lauren McCutcheon
I have this rule about purchases. It’s a rule I break regularly, so I guess
it’s less a rule, more a theory. In principle, I buy only what obsesses me.
So, when we were shooting an amazing house in Wayne last week (just wait
until the Fall/Winter issue of Philadelphia Home!), and I recognized this
perfectly spare, prettily hot pink version of Blu Dot’s iconic “Strut”
console table, I knew I’d have to place my order with Matthew Izzo. (And
pronto, since right now he’s doing one of his fabulous furniture sales,
where everything is marked down between 15 and 20 percent!). 151 North 3rd
