Opening: State of Bliss

By Carrie Denny

While the decor in Bryn Mawr’s brand-spanking-new State of Grace is daaarling — sky-blue awning, butter-yellow walls, and black and white accents throughout — owner Amanda Barton has the best of aesthetic strategies: “I’ll let the clothes speak for themselves.”

And speak (to us) they will: The comfy space (fireplace, couches and Sports Illustrated for husbands included) is chock-full of Habitual and Rich & Skinny jeans, Rachel Pally jersey dresses — plus loads of accessories, too.

1029 West Lancaster Avenue, Bryn Mawr, 610-525-0100.
