Good Life Daily: Frizz Whiz
By Jessica Blatt
For those of you who've been sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting for an update on my experiment with Fekkai's new Coiff line of hair products (sprays and balms and goops), here it is: The products, when used correctly, do do the trick — they keep fly-aways at bay, offer a subtle (but not greasy) shine, and are neither sticky nor cloyingly perfumed.
But ... I'll admit: The only thing that's really going to make hair like mine frizz-free is, well, a personal hair stylist who'd be willing to come to my apartment every morning, and/or more time in the day. I simply don't have the time (or, OK, patience) to painstakingly blow-dry and then iron my hair and, until I do, no amount of product — from Fekkai's $25 bottles to drugstore's $2 bottles — will be able to fight mother nature. (See this pic here? It's a perfect example of what happens when, halfway through blow-drying my hair, my beauty-A.D.D. kicks in and I simply give up.) Perhaps next week I should embrace my good ol' curls and test-drive curl creams? Or, maybe, as my friend and colleague Lauren and I have been daring each other for months now, I should go to the extreme and get a — gasp — perm!
