This Wednesday, the Nordstroms in both King of Prussia and Cherry Hill will open early — at 8 a.m. — to kick off their half-yearly sale featuring oodles of brands for women and kids. Look for big savings on shoes, handbags, clothes, and accessories for the fall season.

Duross & Langel: Fifth Anniversary Celebration    
This Thursday marks the fifth birthday of this local savonniere shop, and they’re celebrating with five days of events. This Thursday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., stop by for soaps inspired by neighboring Capogiro’s gelato flavors, like mint stracciatella, thai coconut milk, blood orange, and honey lavender; on Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., they’ll be making wine-inspired soaps to celebrate the November release of Beaujolais Nouveau; on Saturday, Peregrine Coffee will be stopping by while owner Steve Duross makes scrubs and soaps from their beans; on Sunday, try out their soap bars inspired by Golden Monkey, Baltic Thunder and Hop Devil beer; and on Monday, they’ll celebrate with anniversary cake all day, and a cookie jar: customers can stick their hand in and pull out a percentage off their purchase.
