Venuto’s wants to be a chain restaurant. And you won’t mind have this ready-for-syndication thin-crust pizza joint show up in your neighborhood. It’s paper-plate kind of place, with a snarky sense of branding (“You have the right to the last piece,” one sign says. “Unfortunately so does everyone else.”) and easy-to-like white- or wheat-crusted pizza, lightly sauced. But choose your own toppings from the lengthy list — some of the restaurant’s signature pies can bring an overload of flavors.
