This Headhouse Square “passion project” from owner George Reilly has a few things going for it. There’s a great bar long on the brown liquor. The menu is an ambitious (though sometimes comically so) take on the comfort foods of the American South. And upstairs, there’s a 2nd-floor juke joint that offers live blues for those looking for an escape from the traditional dining room ambiance.
