Audrey Taichman has revamped her 10-year-old restaurant, brightening the somewhat dated minimalist decor with fresh white walls and sunny yellow booths. This cheery atmosphere brings with it a menu full of easy crowd-pleasers, like a refreshing scallop ceviche and a simple thin-crust pizza. A few of the previous menu's Asian-influenced standbys remain, but mostly the new lineup delivers the usual suspects -- a plump pork chop with cinnamon peaches, burgers and fries, spaghetti specials -- that you want from your favorite neighborhood hang.

I went here for the first time for restaurant week. I am a foodie, and big into BYOs in the city and love to cook. I have had not-thata-great experiences in the past during restaurant week, and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was very fast and thorough, and the food divine. I can't say enough. I will definately go back. This may be one of my new faves, and honestly before tonight haven't heard much about it. And things should be said. Very underrated in my opinion....
