Good buzz about barbecued baby back ribs and spicy slaw led us to a handsomely renovated SEPTA station at Ambler and the compact white-tablecloth BYOB inside called Trax Café. Those ribs are good, but chef-owner Steve Waxman has plenty of fine-dining skills up his sleeve, amply demonstrated by a gorgeous roasted red pepper fresh mozzarella pesto appetizer, and terrific crabcakes. The fig tart, made in-house, is worth a trip on the R5.
