Grilled cheese is a diner standard, but the Pop Shop isn’t a standard diner. Look for 31 variations on gooey grilled cheese, best paired with classic tomato soup topped with Goldfish crackers. There’s also five kinds of eggs Benedict, 15 different omelets, and 12 types of pancakes. The Pop Shop’s 200-item menu is so vast that an indecisive customer might never get around to ordering. On the other hand, there’s certainly something to please even the pickiest eater. It’s crowd-pleasing diner fare, but the Pop Shop’s particular niche is making nearly everything from scratch, even the spicy ketchup for the hand-cut French fries.
