Profile

Couch Tomato, with its muted color scheme and sparkling red stools, is not a greasy pizza spot designed to feed the boozy masses. Slices, cut from 20-inch pies cooked on pizza stones, are heaped with toppings like eggplant and chicken parmesan. Twenty varieties of salads are topped with homemade dressings; soups are also made in-house. For the lazy, the Couch Tomato does deliver.

A friend of mine suggested trying out their pizza next time I stopped through Manayunk, and since then I have revisited 4 times. I truly believe this little cafe' has the best pizza in the city. I have split a large pizza with 3 others, I have gotten their personal pizzas, and I have even gotten their slices. My suggestion, if you're with people, is definitely to get the large pizza. The crust is perfectly thin, crispy, etc. A must try!

I love the food here.. Buffalo Chicken wraps are amazing and they have great pizza. Thing is they never give you enough meat on anything. The wraps and taco salads are mainly vegetables with a light sprinkling of meat. For what the cost is I'd like to get what I pay for.
