Profile

Stephen Starr's catering arm has taken over the Art Museum's dining operations and injected them with a welcome breath of fresh air. The casual cafeteria — now called, simply, The Cafeteria — leans more towards European gourmet market than school lunch lady, with its all-day omelet station, build-your-own salad bar and newly subway-tiled eating area. Grab a quick lunch here while wandering the museum: the photo-ready baguettes and boules tucked into straw baskets and hand-painted chalk menu boards are almost exhibit-worthy themselves.
