The Black Sheep Pub & Restaurant

| Text listing to mobile

If ever a building looked like it wanted to be a pub, it’s this one, a National Historic Landmark where, to the delight of Black Sheep owners Matthew Kennedy, James Stephens and Gene LeFevre, most cell phones don’t work. So the Emerald Isle natives have a real get-away-from-it-all pub on their hands, with 18 Irish whiskies, 30 single-malt scotches, and scores of beers available from bottle or tap. There’s a true-pub-plus menu: fish and chips with vinegar, of course, but also a popular Guinness stew, and chicken and mushroom pie.
