Yes, it’s in a strip mall. Facing...a mall. Just off a busy highway. But there’s an unexpected warmth inside Tacconelli’s, thanks mostly to the waitstaff bustling around and the families squeezed into booths and around tables. This Jersey sister of the Port Richmond stalwart turns out pies (no single slices here) that are just as good, and you don’t have to fuss with that reserve-your-dough hoopla to get some of the best, freshest-tasting pizza we’ve encountered, smeared with richly flavored sauce and piled with gorgeous toppings.
